Hey Shack, pretty sure this is mission 3, you skipped one

Even the cutscenes for this game are weird. Some of them are like edgy 2000's CSGO and Call of Duty montages, the art direction is all over the place. Almost as bad as the in-game cutscenes that activate while in the middle of battle, taking away your ability to command anything, and even worse giving us terrible camera angles while in the tactical overlay so you can't even see cool battles... just janky.

Is it just me or did that engineer team sound like the USA ambulance from c&c zero hour.

played this through the day it came out fucken love it its exactly what i wanted from starship troopers the other environments are cool but the city scape environment is just so on point for this game and the franchise plus its nice to see cause we really don't get that in starship troopers media

Something to keep in mind for future missions (if you havent already played the campaign by upload time), mortars need to be placed next to the autocannon turrets, their range is basically a normal turret's, what they do is stun enemies, so you can sync their range with your other turrets and see how the bugs keep getting stunned and shot to pieces. where you put them in the middle, they were almost useless because they didnt really have time to bring more value than their low dps when bugs reach turrets.

I love how good you've gotten at RTSes. I remember the old days when you were kinda terrible, and now I think you would beat most people 1v1 in any random RTS. Shack, you should be rather proud of yourself. Oh, and also, I've been waiting for this DLC. I forgot to purchase it, and I appreciate the reminder.

17:45 also Shack, about Plasma bugs (the big ones, not grenadiers) you can see a their area of fire on the map, as the purple circles that cover them, and also you can see their locations (most of the time) also on the map, you can see where a shot is being fired even if it’s not on your screen

I hope they keep making content for this game. This latest DLC was awesome. Would love to fight the bugs in a jungle or Forrest itd be a interesting change from the places weve fought over before

Haven't played this game since it first appeared a while back and it's gorgeous visuals still blow me away. The foliage animations and destruction mixed with the color palette and attack effects/lighting - and the sounds - it's all such a treat that gets the dopamine flowing with every pull of the trigger.

The dropships are bad. just go empire stiloe with at ats and infantry.

This is how I imagine the pov of the SEAF defenders would look like when there's terminid outbreaks.

Don't sleep on T4 Imperial Strike Craft, the Imperial T4 bomber might be the best in the game. Its fast, has assault missiles and proton bombs, and surprisingly good survivability in comparison to many other bombers in the game. At T5 strike craft you also get the defender, which is kind of what you get when you take a multirole weapons loadout similar to an X wing and put it on a chassis that might be faster and more maneuverable than an A wing. They are kind of bonkers good.

Honestly my favorite battle so far. Loved seeing the tug of war in this fight and not the usual one side crushing of shacks forces.

You should finish the Ord Mantell mission chain you started. There might be battles involved, and you might get to say hi to someone familiar. No Royal Dragons for you, but you can get the smaller ships. The cluster ion bombs on the Battle Dragons gimp enemy fighters like crazy. If there is a dogfight nearby, your fighters will sweep the ionized fighters aside quickly afterward. They are also good long-range fire platforms that have pretty good shields.

I like the fact that Imogen chose a Trojan horse style plan. It's funny how The Queen was so easy to trick. It was probably easier because she had such a big ego and wanted every single bit of power she could get her hands on. I wonder if they'll be making a Homeworld 4 telling how Imogen and the Khar-Kushan got back to Hiigara.
